Michael E. Johnson, 48, of Shady Run Road, Youngstown, OH, died Thursday, September 24, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. He was born November 19, 1966 in Warren, Ohio a son of the late Alfonso and Pauline (Ellis) Johnson. Mr. Johnson worked for R&R, Infocision and Sears over the years. He was a Navy veteran serving eight years on a submarine in the Persian Gulf. Mr. Johnson was an avid sports fan and Cleveland Browns fan and he enjoyed fixing cars and drawing.
He is survived by three children, Michael Johnson, Jr. of Biloxi, MS, Terray Johnson of Biloxi, MS, and Brianna Johnson of Biloxi, MS, one brother, Alvin Johnson and his wife Tammy of New Castle, one sister, Irene Johnson of Minotola, NJ, his fiancé, Barri Clark of Youngstown, OH and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 12 PM to 1 PM.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Richard Rue of Union Baptist Church will be officiating.
