Merle Thomas

Merle Thomas, 72, of Upland, CA, died Sunday, July 26, 2015 in California. She was born September 17, 1942 in Holland, Michigan a daughter of the late Arnold Brower and Helen Trost. She was married to Gary Thomas for 52 years, he survives in California. Mrs. Thomas worked for Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Ontario, CA as a Phlebotomist retiring after a number of years.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Michael Thomas and his wife Cindy of New Castle, one brother, Bud Brower of California, and one grandson, Joseph Thomas of New Castle.
She was also preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 5:30 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
