Lisa M. Wetzel

Lisa M. Wetzel, 30, of West Laurel Boulevard, New Castle, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born August 6, 1985 in Houston, Texas a daughter of Richard Wetzel, II of New Wilmington and Denise (Fazzone) Wetzel of New Castle. Miss Wetzel worked at Mr. B's in Shenango and Neshannock and also at Shop & Save in the Deli Department. Lisa will be remembered for her sense of humor and her love of animals. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and watching her daughter cheer.

In addition to her parents she is survived by one daughter, Mariah Gayem of New Castle, one sister, Leslie Wetzel of New Castle, one niece, McKinley Carlisle, her step-mother, Melissa Wetzel, her grandmothers, Lois Wetzel and Edith Fazzone, her aunts and uncles, John and Cindy Wetzel, Brian Wetzel, William and Karen Fazzone, and Charles and Cindy Harris and a number of cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Richard A. Wetzel and her grandfather William M. Fazzone.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Blessing services will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
