John E. Norris

John E. Norris, 65, of South First Street, New Castle, passed away surrounded by his loving family and many friends, Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. He was born September 12, 1950 in New Castle, a son of the late Walter and Justine (Pollio) Norris, Sr. Mr. Norris retired in 2011 from the New Castle Area School District Maintenance Department with 30 years of service. Prior to that he gained his masonry and concrete work experience while working with R.I.B. Constructions Co. His welding, fabricating and pipe fitting experience with George Lewis Fabrication. And his wiring and electrical experience while working for B. Majocka and Bruce and Merrilees. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid sports fan. Mr. Norris was a member of the Lawrence County Sportsman's Association. He was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend. When a job needed done, John never hesitated to jump in and help.

He is survived by one daughter, Shelby Justine Norris of New Castle, his companion, Sallye Fiscus of New Castle, two brothers, Walter Norris, Jr. and his wife Diana, and Michael Norris and his wife Linda, both of New Castle, two sisters, Toni Predwitch and her husband Robert and Margie Norris, both of New Castle, two nieces, Michelle Natale and her husband Jeffrey and Leanna Latrenta and her husband Joe, and two nephews, Jeffrey Natale and Timmy Natale.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 4 PM to 7 PM.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Rev. Jarod Mills of Clifton Flats Alliance Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery.
