Elizabeth Mary Arket

Elizabeth Mary Arket, 93, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, died Tuesday morning, March 24, 2009 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born July 15, 1915 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Cardella) Maccarella. She was married to Charles J. Arket who died on March 11, 1998. Mrs. Arket was a homemaker and a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Kallman of Miami Beach, FL, one sister, Carrie Pagley of New Castle and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Victor Maccarella, and three sisters, Thelma Pitzatola, Louise Colello, and Jennie DeFelco.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 10 am to 11 am.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11:00 am at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Rex Wasser of Epworth United Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Unity Baptist Cemetery in Harlansburg.
