Loy J. 'Pete' Rebmann

Loy J. ‘Pete’ Rebmann, 57, of Maryland Ave., New Castle, died Tuesday afternoon, March 24, 2009 at his son’s residence in New Castle. He was born May 13, 1951 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Loy F. Powell and Edith Rebmann. He was married to Sherry A. (Lambright) Rebmann, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Rebmann worked as a painter for the Painters and Allied Trades Local #530 for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting and doing crossword puzzles and love spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, one daughter, Monica L. Rebmann of North Augusta, SC, one son, Peter L. Rebmann and his wife Jamie of New Castle, PA, four brothers, William ‘Dick’ Rebmann of East Ridge, TN, Scott Powell of New Castle, PA, Theodore Rebmann of Whitefish, MT, and Matthew Rebmann of Columbus, OH, two sisters, Linda Smith and Peggy Deli of East Ridge, TN, two grandchildren, Natalie and Gabriel Rebmann.

He was also preceded in death by his sister Sandra Rebmann.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 3 pm to 4 pm.

Memorial services will be held Friday, March 27, 2009 at 4:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Jameson Hospice in memory of Loy Rebmann.
