Delores Mae Morrison

Delores Mae Morrison, 78, of First Ave., Ellwood City, died Wednesday afternoon, April 8, 2009 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was born October 31, 1930 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Mike) Albert. Mrs. Morrison was a nurses aide at Blair's Nursing Home in Beaver Falls for 8 years. Prior to that she was a custodian at Ellwood City Forge for 12 years and was a waitress at Prior's and Eppinger’s Restaurants’ for many years.

She is survived by, two daughters, Deanna M. Shaffer and her husband Claire Jones of Portersville, PA, and Terri J. Annarumo of Ellwood City, PA, five grandchildren, Christian & Kimberly Shaffer, Heather Frampton, and Edward and Joseph Annarumo, two great grandchildren, Savannah Fair and Roxanne Frampton, one brother, George Albert of Madison Heights, MI and her former husband, Arthur Dean ‘Squeak’ Morrison of Ellwood City, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, two brothers, Abdo and Joseph Albert, and three sisters, Mary Albert, Frieda Angelo, and Jennie Albert.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday, April 10, 2009 from 1 pm to 5 pm and Monday, April 13, 2009 from 9:15 am to 10:15 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 13, 2009 at 11:00 am at Holy Redeemer Church, Ellwood City. Father Mark Thomas of Holy Redeemer Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:15 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery in New Castle.
