Viola Grace Mackey

Viola Grace Mackey, 72, of Carlisle St., New Castle, died Monday morning, April 13, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Beaver, Pennsylvania. She was born February 15, 1937 in Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania a daughter of the late John and Alberta (Schull) Snowberger. Mrs. Mackey was a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia J. Miller and her husband David of Ellwood City, PA, and Cathy L. Russi and her husband Kenneth of Harmony, PA, one son, Daniel ‘Skip’ Burns, Jr., of New Castle, PA, one brother, Harold Snowberger of Princeton, PA, twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 2nd husband, George Mackey, her 1st husband Daniel Burns, Sr., one brother, Wayne Snowberger, and four sisters, Etta Leasure, Louise Vuksic, Dorothy Herbert, and Lillian Reichle.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 11:00 am at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. David Meyer will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
