Henry W. ‘Buster’ Kraner, 60, of Berger Street, New Castle, died Sunday, January 17, 2016 at his home in New Castle. He was born October 30, 1955 in New Castle, the son of the late Henry Kraner and Barbara (Morrow) Kraner, his mother survives in New Castle. Mr. Kraner worked as a welder for Pullman Standard and Trinity Steel and then was a conductor for CSX. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and cooking. He also loved listening to Rock and Roll and was an avid Steelers fan.
In addition to his mother he is survived by one daughter, Stephaine R. Kraner of Pittsburgh, his companion, Lisa Norse of New Castle, six sisters, Ann Marie Grimm and her husband William of Cortland, OH, Kathy Hudak and her husband John of Mercer Co., PA, Barbara Jean Kraner of New Castle, Faith Elaine Kraner of New Castle, Audrey Merck and her husband Christopher of Midland, PA, and Kimberly Bleakney and her husband Everett of Lisbon, OH, thirteen nieces and nephews, fifteen great nieces and nephews and three great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 4 PM to 6 PM.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 22, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jarod Mills of Clifton Flats Alliance Church will be officiating.
