Waddy J. Moses, Sr.

Waddy J. Moses, 87, of 1112 Cunningham Ave., New Castle, died Thursday evening, March 23, 2006 at Haven Nursing Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born July 26, 1918 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania the son of John and Martha (Joseph) Moses, they precede him in death. He married Margaret (Matecka) Moses on July 27, 1958, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Moses retired from Rockwell International as a machine operator after 31 years. He enjoyed bowling and loved going on vacations.

In addition to his wife he is survived by, 4 daughters, Maxine Pruett of Milton, FL, Beverly Worosz of Las Vegas, NV, Tammy Abraham of Natrona Heights, PA, and Jamie Depher of San Diego, CA, 3 sons, Freddy Abraham of Omaha, NE, Mahfouz John Abraham of Edinburg, PA, and Waddy J. Moses, Jr. of New Castle, PA, 3 brothers, James Moses, Ralph Moses and Norman Moses all of New Castle, PA, 2 sisters, Sarah Assid and Norma Sheldon both of New Castle, PA, 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-mother Emma (Albert) Moses, his 1st wife Mildred (Gardner) Moses, 2 brothers William Moses and Thomas Moses, and 3 sisters, Marsha Moses, Rose Manolis, and Sophie Thomas.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 27, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery.
