Nettie Alice Buntman

Nettie Alice Buntman, 79, of Harrison Street, New Castle, died February 29, 2016 at Butler Memorial Hospital in Butler, PA. She was born in New Castle on July 16, 1936 a daughter of the late Bill and Ruth (Hamilton) Langlands. She was married to the late Isaac Buntman who died January 29, 2006. Mrs. Buntman was a cook at Frengle’s and Bailey’s Restaurants for many years. She was a member of Tifereth Israel Temple Hadar Israel. She enjoyed making crafts, crocheting, and making baby blankets. She also made clothes and Barbie Doll wedding dresses. Nettie also enjoyed traveling and going to the casino.
She is survived by six children, Judy Langley of Knoxville, TN, Harry Buntman and wife Helen of New Castle, Larry Buntman and fiancé Jackie Hall of New Castle, Steven Buntman and wife Sharon of Monrovia, MD, Jeff Buntman and wife LeeAnn of Vacaville, CA and Linda Kettler and husband Mike of Palm Coast, FL, eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Hyman Buntman and one sister, Mable Peterson.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
Services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 2:30 PM at the funeral home. Rabbi Howie Stein will officiate. Burial will be in Tifereth Israel Cemetery.
