Mary M. Mignano, 96, of Friendship Street, New Castle, formerly of Johnston, RI, died Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born November 21, 1919 in Lawrence, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Rosaria (Supino) Palmieri. She was married to the late Joseph Mignano who died June 17, 2015. Mrs. Mignano was a jewelry designer for many years in Rhode Island. She loved making jewelry and cooking.
She is survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son Joseph Mignano, her brother Alfred Palmieri, and her sister Theresa Ciccone.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston, RI.
