Marian S. Klabon

Marian S. Klabon, 90, of North Wayne Street, New Castle, died Friday, April 22, 2016 at Avalon Nursing Center in New Castle. She was born January 29, 1926 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania the daughter of Anthony Marchione and the late Margaret ‘Maggie’ (Conti) Sinibaldi. She was married to the late John Klabon who died September 22, 1986. Mrs. Klabon was a cook at Maggie's Restaurant and worked at Stefano's Studio One for many years. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, going to the horse races and casino. She also loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Charlene M. Nuzzo and Mark Hull of New Castle, John C. ‘Jocko’ Klabon and wife Jane of Carlisle, PA, and Jodi A. Esoldo and husband Mike of New Castle, four grandchildren, Joel Klabon, Michael Esoldo, Melanie Myers and Mia Esoldo and four great grandchildren, Finnegan and Ahna Myers and Owen and Katrina Klabon.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph ‘Chiefy’ Marchione, Anthony ‘Punk’ Sinibaldi, and Robert ‘Sinbad’ Sinibaldi, and one sister, Alice Bellino.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 3 PM to 6 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Mary Mother of Hope Church. Father Frank Almade of Mary Mother of Hope Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery.
