Barbara J. Cooper, 67, of Fire Hall Road, New Castle, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born October 26, 1948 in Norfolk, Virginia the daughter of the late Louis and Jane (Harding) Suddith. She married Frank W. Cooper, III on April 19, 1969, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Cooper was a housekeeper at Hill View Manor and Golden Hill Nursing Home retiring after 25 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, traveling, sightseeing and reading.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth A. Williams and her husband Bob of Licking County, Ohio, and Michelle L. Neely and her husband Hank of New Castle, and one grandson, Henry J. Neely.
She was also preceded in death by her brother Larry Suddith.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM.
