Richard M. Klein

Richard M. Klein, 73, of Pennsylvania Avenue, New Castle, died Friday, April 22, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born February 24, 1943 in Pittsburgh, the son of Minnie Bond. He was married to Patricia K. (Sauders) Klein, they were together for 48 years, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Klein was a truck driver for over 40 years and he retired from Chadderton Trucking. He also was a driver for Preston Motors for many years. Mr. Klein enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, traveling, the outdoors and working on any type of vehicle in his garage. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Richard M. Klein and Shelly of New Castle, Michael Klein and Kelly of New Castle, LeAnn Petro and Cindy Wall of Warren, OH, and William M. Klein and Amanda of New Castle, three brothers, Carl Bond of New Castle, Ronald Bond of New Galilee, and Donald Bond of Kittanning, PA, three sisters, Linda Tommasone of New Castle, Carol Jurina of New Castle, and Nancy Thompson of New Castle, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Carl Bond.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the United Methodist Church of New Wilmington, 125 S. Mercer St., New Wilmington, PA 16142. Rev. Rebecca Rosengarth of United Methodist Church, New Wilmington will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
