Frances L. Lemmon, 88, of East Pearl Street, New Castle, died Monday, April 25, 2016 at her home in New Castle. She was born March 29, 1928 in New Castle, a daughter of the late John Mastropietro and Theresa (Mitolo) Mastropietro DelSignore. She was married to the late Harvey L. Lemmon, Sr. who died May 14, 2009. Mrs. Lemmon worked at Shenango Pottery as a detailer and was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking, watching older TV shows, listening to music, and gardening, especially her roses. She also loved spending time with family, and her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, Dianna J. Hiler and her companion Bob Fee of New Castle, Deloris M. Genareo and her husband John of New Castle, Harvey L. Lemmon, Jr. and his wife Audrey of New Castle, and John D. Lemmon and his wife Rosemary of Jamestown, PA, one daughter-in-law, Denise Lemmon of New Castle, one brother, Joseph Mastropietro of New Castle, two sisters, Lucy Saas of New Castle, and Rose Roscetti of New Castle, one step-brother, Robert DelSignore of New Castle, two step-sisters, Linda Ollie of Wexford, and Sylvia Rashid of New Castle, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Duane Lemmon, two brothers, Nick and John Mastropietro, and two step-brothers, Mario and Joe DelSignore.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 3 PM to 6 PM.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Richard Nero will be officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens. On-line condolences can be sent to: www.williamrogerdecarbo.com.
