Pamela J. Hernandez

Pamela J. Hernandez, 67, of Cornell Avenue, New Castle, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Edison Manor Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born September 13, 1948 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Burdell Riley and Betty (Hauffler) Fadden. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Bernard Fadden. She was married to Mark A. Hernandez on November 24, 1975, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Hernandez was a member of the New Castle Bible Church and was very active in her church. She enjoyed cooking, and her pets, especially her dog Isabella. She also loved spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and great grandson.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three children, Sherri L. Benincase and husband Christian of New Castle, Timothy J. Hernandez and fiancé Tabatha Brunswick of New Castle, and Jamie A. Hernandez of Pulaski, three brothers, Burdell Riley of Auburn, NY, Carl Riley of New Castle, and John Riley of South Carolina, two sisters, Merryann Sanford of Clearwater, FL, and Janice Ward of New Castle, sixteen grandchildren and one great grandson.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Arreta Toth.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 1 PM to 2 PM.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Max Bungard of New Castle Bible Church and Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Entombment will be in Parkside Cemetery.
