Weimer Howard Bair

Weimer Howard Bair, 80, of New Castle died Monday, May 16, 2016 at his residence in New Castle. He was born in Everson, PA on February 10, 1936 the son of the late Weimer and Martha (Echard) Bair. He was married to the late Irene (Hermann) Bair who died March 27, 2009. Mr. Bair was an Air Force veteran serving in Germany for 3 years.
He is survived by two children, Cindy DeFrank of New Castle and Donald Bair and wife Tammy of New Castle, his companion, Patricia Ponzi of New Castle, one step-daughter Cheryl Matteo and husband David of New Castle, two sisters, Betty Higgins and Mildred Gagliardo both of New Castle, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one son, Howard Bair and one sister, Dolores Donofrio.
Visitation will be held Thursday May 19, 2016 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 19, 2016 at 5:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
