Agnes Anne Anderson Crisci was born in Memphis to J.O. and Anne Gordon Anderson of Earle, AR on March 16, 1924. She met the love of her life, Roland Crisci at Westminster Choir College and they married in July, 1950. Later she received her Master’s in Music from University of Memphis.

Agnes and Roland returned to Memphis in 1960 where they were employed at Whitehaven Methodist church. Agnes taught Latin and was an avid harpist and harp teacher. Music was her passion. A member of the Tennessee D.A.R., Agnes was active in American Guild of Organists, American Harp Society, and Beethoven Club. She was a member of Third Church of Christ, Scientist.

Agnes is precede in death by her husband and only sibling, Jean Holmes. She is survived by her daughters, Emilia Vails and Joan Crisci; her grandsons, Andrew Massengale and James Massengale; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial liturgy will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 27 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, 700 Poplar Ave., with visitation at 10:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Private family burial will be in Crittenden Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Cathedral music fund or organization of your choice.
