Margaret Francis Pallerino, 85, W. Byers Ave., died Tuesday morning, May 26, 2009 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. She was born February 16, 1924 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Callucci) Perrett. She was married for 54 years to Albert Pallerino, who died October 19, 1996. Mrs. Pallerino was a homemaker and a member of the St. Vitus Church. She was also a member of the South Hills Athletic Association and enjoyed cooking, doing crossword puzzles and shopping with her daughters. Margaret was a loving wife and devoted mother. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to everyone. She thought of everyone else before her self.
She is survived by three sons, Albert Pallerino, Jr. and his wife Diane, Richard Pallerino, and Aaron ‘Pudgy’ Pallerino and his wife Louise, three daughters, Karen Nagy and her husband Ed, Amy Zeigler and her husband Richard, and Cassandra McCowin and her husband Daniel, all of New Castle, PA, two brothers, Thomas and James Perrett, both of New Castle, two sisters, Bridget Cobb of New Castle, and Betty Hoagland of Las Vegas, NV, seventeen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Daniel, Michael, and Anthony ‘Dudey’ Perrett, and infant twin brothers, and three sisters, Delores Marmo, Anna Stanley Nava, and Mary Sawick.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 11 am to 1 pm.
A Blessing service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father James Downs of Christ the King Parish will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
