Mark D. Benincase

Mark D. Benincase, 57, of Morningstar Drive, Ellwood City, died Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Ellwood City Hospital. He was born in New Castle on January 12, 1959 a son of the late Domenico and Antoinette (Passifume) Benincase. He married Young S. (Kong) Benincase on September 25, 1985, she survives in Ellwood City. Mr. Benincase worked for American Olean and Metro Cleaning both in Cranberry Twp., PA in sales for a number of years. He was a Navy veteran. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golfing. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter who was “the apple of his eye”.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Nichole Marie Benincase of Ellwood City, one brother, David Benincase of Hillsville, one sister, Rosemary Plaufacan and husband George of New Castle and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Patrick and Thomas Benincase.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 from 5 PM to 8 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Mary Mother of Hope Church. Father Frank Almade of Mary Mother of Hope will officiate. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 12:30 PM. Entombment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Military Funeral Rites at the cemetery.
