Alvin L. Baker, 37, of Old Chewton Rd., West Pittsburg, died Saturday, June 6, 2009 at his home in West Pittsburg. He was born April 17, 1972 in New Castle, the son of Alvin and Linda (Davis) Baker, his parents survive in New Castle. He married Beth Ann (Brown) Baker on August 5, 2000, she survives in West Pittsburg. Mr. Baker enjoyed fixing and restoring classic cars and trucks and attending car shows. He especially loved his 1974 Corvette
He is survived by, two daughters, Abigail L. Baker and Madison I. Baker, both of West Pittsburg, PA, one sister, Christina L. Karsnak of Sharon, PA, his grandfather, Clifford Davis of New Castle, his mother-in-law, Irene (Yhelka) Brown of Ellwood City and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 10 am to 12 noon.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. David Bell of First United Brethren Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Ellwood City.
