Debra L. Werner

Debra L. Werner, 61, of Atkinson Street, New Castle, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. She was born June 2, 1955 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Doreen (Sharpe) Hanna. Mrs. Werner worked in the cafeteria of Union High School for many years. She was a member of the New Bedford Church. Mrs. Werner was membership secretary for Fur Fin Feathers Club in West Middlesex since 1998 and she enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Kristen Mrozek and her husband John of Pasadena, MD, and Sheila Werner of New Castle, one brother, Kenneth Hanna of Kentucky, two sisters, Kathleen Quinn and Wendy McConnell, both of New Castle, and one grandson, Anthony Mrozek.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Diabetes Society.
