Harry D. Walker, 80, of Franklin Heights Drive, Monroeville, died Monday, August 1, 2016 at Family Hospice in Pittsburgh. He was born October 19, 1935 in New Castle, the son of the late Alice (Davis) Walker. He was married to Joan June (Santia) Walker who survives in Monroeville. Mr. Walker was the Director of the Computer Lab for Gulf Oil Corporation retiring after 30 years. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Walker was very active in Monroeville Youth Football and was a phenomenal woodworker and cabinet maker. He was a devoted husband, terrific father and loving grandfather.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three children, Dawn Ann Zollinger and husband Douglas of Ft. Wayne, IN, Sherry Wareham and husband Robert of Monroeville, and John F. Walker and wife Ellen of Monroeville, and six grandchildren, Dillon Walker, Riley Walker, Mariah Zollinger, Brady Walker, Zachary Zollinger, and Molly Walker.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, New Castle, PA 16101 on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 10 AM to 12 Noon.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 5, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Nick Mastrangelo and Rev. Robert Wareham will be officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum in New Castle.
