Marsha K. Streit

Marsha K. Streit, 65, of Brentwood Avenue, New Castle, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at her home in New Castle. She was born May 2, 1951 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Frederick Miller and Cornelia (Buchanan) Hobrat, her mother survives in New Castle. She was married to Robert J. Streit, Jr. on February 14, 1970, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Streit enjoyed crocheting, making floats for parades with her children and grandchildren for different organizations, and she enjoyed watching her grandchildren compete and do all of their activities.

In addition to her husbaned she is survived by her step-father, Thomas Hobrat, three children, Kimberly J. Franzen and husband John of Ellwood City, Kelli L. Streit of New Castle, and Scott E. Streit of New Castle, two brothers, Frederick Miller and wife Mary Jo of Erie, PA, and Robert Hobrat and wife Gina of Pittsburgh, PA, one sister, Paula Burkes and husband Gregg of New Castle, PA, one sister-in-law, Pat Miller of Erie, PA, and four grandchildren, Kaylee Franzen, James Streit, Camden Franzen, and Janialin Streit.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter Kandice Streit.

Visitation will be held at the Castlewood Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 660 Harmony Baptist Road, New Castle, on Saturday from 11 AM to 12 Noon.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. at Castlewood Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Rev. James O'Hara will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
