Mary S. Bunnell

Mary S. Bunnell, 90, of Haven Convalescent Home, died Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Haven Convalescent Home in New Castle. She was born April 5, 1926 in Clariton, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Oscar and Jenny (Pelkey) Jacobs. She was married to the late George Bunnell who died October 1977. Mrs. Bunnell worked in housekeeping at Jameson Memorial Hospital and manufactured fireworks for Zambelli's for many years. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and a former member of the Moose Club and she enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by three children, Mary Louise Riggans and husband Charles of Edinburg, PA, Janet Marie Quimby and husband Edgar of Wampum, PA, and Ronald Allan Bunnell of Edinbug, PA, ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and twelve great great granchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, David John Bunnell, two brothers, Joe and John Jacobs, and her sister Elnora Jacobs.
Private funeral services will be held at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
