William M. Jones

William M. Jones, 79, of Edison Manor, formerly of W. Long Ave., died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Edison Manor Nursing Home. He was born April 24, 1930 in New Castle, a son of the late Preston and Carrie (Bailey) Jones. Mr. Jones was a janitor for the City of New Castle and worked at All American Rentals. He enjoyed people and watching game shows on TV.
He leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memory, six sisters, Carrie Basham, Ella Jones, and Otha Montgomery all of Grove City, PA, Ruth Small, Dorann Gray, and Carlotta Santori all of Cleveland, OH and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Percell, and Cora Cohen, and one brother, Preston Jones, Jr.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Visitors will be greeted after 11:00 am at the funeral home. Pastor Richard Favor of New Castle 7th Day Adventist Church will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
