Alfreda Eichler, 67, of Franklin Ave., died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. She was born August 10, 1941 in Monaca, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Alfred and Violet (Berarducci) Musser. She was married to Thomas Eichler, III, who died in 1986. Mrs. Eichler was a nurses aide at Highland Hall Nursing Home for 13 years, then at Silver Oak Nursing Home for 6 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching wrestling and listening to Elvis Presley.
She is survived by four children, Teena and Carla Eichler, both of New Castle, and Sandra Havis and Brian Eichler, both of Beaver Falls, two brothers, John Musser of Darlington, and Wilbert Berarducci of Rochester, one step-brother, Richard Howard of Beaver Falls, three sisters, Wilma Ayres of New Brighton, Anna Hooks of New Castle, and Blanche Menefee of Kentucky, nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Eichler, IV and Scott Eichler, one brother, Alfred Musser, one sister, Violet Stevens and two grandsons.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 11 am to 12 noon.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Richard Nero, Chaplain of Southern Care Hospice will be officiating.
