Pauline J. Mazzocco

Pauline J. Mazzocco, 89, of Calabrese Road, New Castle, returned to her heavenly Father on Friday, September 2, 2016 at her residence. She was born in New Castle on September 7, 1926 a daughter of the late Charles and Rosalina (Coletti) Frank. She married James D. Mazzocco on November 29, 1947, he survives in New Castle. Pauly, as she was affectionately known, will be remembered as a giving mother, grandmother and aunt, sister and wife. Her loved touched many and her hospitality and kindness will be remembered and cherished.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Ronald J. Mazzocco and wife Teresa of Clark, PA, three grandchildren, Angela DeSalvo and Steve, Nichole Mazzocco and Olivia Mazzocco, and three great grandchildren, Brianna, Jordyn and Niko.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Guy and Joseph Frank and nine sisters, Rose Palmer, Susan Quint, Madeline Champ, Edith Ascione, Virginia Fazio, Ann Szewezyk, Annetta Boggs, Florence Dando and Viola Shaftic.
Private funeral services will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the City Rescue Mission, 319 S. Croton Ave., New Castle, PA 16101.
