Josephine J. Bucker, 86, of Frank Avenue, New Castle, died Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born June 17, 1930 in Ellwood City, a daughter of the late Paul and Filomena (Condell) Guerrera. She was married to Charles W. Bucker, Sr. on February 28, 1960, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Bucker was a waitress at Medure's and Yearage's restaurants retiring after 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, camping, baking, cooking and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three children, Charles W. Bucker, Jr. and wife Vickie of Hermitage, Carl P. Bucker and wife Renee of Ocala, FL, and JoAnne Bucker of Edinburg, one son-in-law, Dannie Stockman, one brother, Sam Guerrera of Pittsburgh, one sister, Margaret Kimmel of Ellwood City, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Carolyn Stockman and Phyllis Ango, and one brother, Anthony Guerrera.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 5 PM to 7 PM.
Blessing services will be held Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Frank Almade of St. Joseph Church will be officiating. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery in Ellwood City.
