Antoinette N. 'Peachy' Dejoseph

Antoinette N. ‘Peachy’ DeJoseph, 91, of Star Drive, New Castle, died Monday, September 19, 2016 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. She was born April 4, 1925 in New Castle, the daughter of the late John and Bruna (Staffa) Perrotta. She was married to the late Ernest A. DeJoseph who died August 6, 2007. Mrs. DeJoseph was co-owner and operator of Keystone Specialty with her husband for 30 years, she then continued working with her son for over 30 more years. She was a member of the St. Vitus Church Choir and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Peachy loved her work and her customers.

She is survived by two children, Chris E. DeJoseph and wife Lynda of New Castle, and Linda M. Smith of Seattle, WA, three brothers, John Perrotta Fontanna, CA, Clyde Perrotta of New Castle, and Ronald Perrotta of New Castle, four grandchildren, Valerie Proctor, Ernest Dellaverson, Michelle McKenna and Joshua Smith-McLean and seven great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her brother Anthony Perrotta, and her granddaughter Christine Marie DeJoseph.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
