Ida Costa

Ida Costa, 81, formerly of Carmella Drive, New Castle, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Jameson Care Center. She was born September 30, 1934 in New Castle a daughter of the late Matthew and Mary (Fazzone) Circelli. She was married to the late Joseph J. ‘Scrappy’ Costa who died July 28, 2001. Mrs. Costa was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping, watching TV and spending time with her family and great granddaughter.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Amanda Lutz, Jennifer Mackievich and Jason Costa and three great grandchildren, Taylor Lutz, and Jonah and Jeffrey Costa, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two children, John J. Costa and Rosemarie Costa, three brothers, Anthony, Arthur and Frank Circelli, and four sisters, Jennie Circelli, Stella Pragacz, Rose Dekanach and Marie Byers.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 from 11 AM to 12 Noon at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
A blessing service will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. On-line condolences can be sent to: www.williamrogerdecarbo.com.
