David S. Price, Sr., 58, of Scottview Drive, Portersville, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Edison Manor Nursing Home in New Castle. He was born May 30, 1958 in Rochester, Pennsylvania a son of the late Earl and Anna (Pauline) Price. He was married to Shari Lynn (Sweesy) Price on May 1, 1979, she survives in Portersville. Mr. Price was a self-employed mechanic retiring after 30 years. He also worked for numerous automotive garages over the years. Mr. Price was an avid hunter and enjoyed gunsmithing.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, David S. Price, II and Tara of New Castle, Matthew A. Price and Laura of Danbury, CT, and Joshua E. Price and Chelsea of Harmony, PA, four brothers, Earl, James, Roger, and Carl Price, and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Shiloh Assemblies, 112 3rd Avenue, New Brighton, PA 15066. Pastor Laurel Byers of Shiloh Assemblies will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
