Dolores C Coblentz

Dolores C Coblentz, 75, of Avalon Drive, Union Township, died Monday, July 6, 2009, at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh. Mrs. Coblentz retired after 23 years of service as.a Custodian for Union Area School District. She was born March 13, 1934, in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Richard and Ora (Geere) Show. She was preceeded in death by her husband the late Harold Coblentz. Mrs. Coblentz enjoyed cooking, playing cards, camping, and gardening. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Coblentz of Butler, William Coblentz and Timothy Sallmem both of New Castle, a brother Ronald Show of Poway, CA, a sister Karen Gage of Dubois., nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her son John Coblentz, her brother Lynden Show, her sister Lois Davis, and her granddaughter.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, July 10, 2009 at 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 10, 2009 at 11:00A.M at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Barbara Moore of Wesley United Methodist Church will be officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions are to be sent to the Wesley United Methodist Church, West Washington Street, New Castle PA. 16101.
