Alexander J. Rotar

Alexander J. Rotar, 68, of Highlandview Road, New Castle, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. He was born October 12, 1948 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of the late Alexander and Madelyne (Nytupski) Rotar. Mr. Rotar worked for Haski Aviation in maintenance for 10 years and he enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by six children, John Rotar and wife Tammy of New Castle, Debbie Castanedq and husband Guillemo of Buena Park, CA, Michelle Climie and husband James of Apache Junction, AZ, Alexander Rotar of Apache Junction, AZ, Michael Rotar of Apache Junction, AZ, and Kimberly Smart and husband Edmund of Buena Park, CA, one sister, Carol Surrena of New Castle, and nine grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his brother Rudy Rotar.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1204 W. Washington Street, New Castle. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
