Karen L. Nagy, 69, of Old Butler Road, New Castle, died Monday, November 7, 2016 at her home in New Castle. She was born February 16, 1947 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Perrett) Pallerino. She was married to William Edward Nagy, Sr. on February 13, 1964, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Nagy was a cashier at Nickle’s Bakery Shop for 10 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking and reading.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two children, Denise Park and husband William of New Castle, and William Edward Nagy, Jr. and wife Shelly of New Castle, two brothers, Richard Pallerino of Ellwood City, and Aaron Pallerino and wife Louise of New Castle, two sisters, Amelia 'Amy' Zeigler and husband Richard of New Castle, and Cassandra 'Cassy' McCowin and husband Daniel of New Castle, and three grandchildren, William Edward Nagy, III, Sydney Parris, and Amanda Nagy.
She was also preceded in death by her brother Albert Pallerino, Jr.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 8:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Richard Nero will be officiating.
