Velma P. Williams

Velma P. Williams, 88, of Overlook Nursing Home, formerly of Lamont Street, Pittsburgh, died Sunday, November 13, 2016 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. She was born December 7, 1927 in Montgomery, Alabama. Mrs. Williams enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, Henry Williams of New Castle, Danny Bo Williams and wife Cherie of New Castle, Tammy Williams of Connecticut, and Burnell Williams of New Castle, a number of brothers and sister, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Billings and her daughter, Betty Jean Hudson.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
