Patricia Ann Kerr

Patricia Ann Kerr, 67, of N. Cedar St., New Castle, died Friday, July 31, 2009 at Haven Nursing Home. She was born April 8, 1942 in New Castle, the daughter of the late Robert Buchanan and Evelen (Noah) Buchanan Pomper. Mrs. Kerr retired after 25 years as a nurses aide at Haven Nursing Home. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and playing cards and bingo with her friends. Mrs. Kerr also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Tammy E. Bartolone and her husband Phillip and one son, David H. Kerr and his companion Kelly A. Chill, all of New Castle, two brothers, Robert Buchanan of Tampa, FL, and Mark Pomper of Transfer, PA, two sisters, Geannie Munger of San Diego, CA, and Kathleen Pomper of Sharon, PA, three granddaughters, Jami Kessler and Rachele and Brittany Bartolone and one great grandson, Michael Kessler.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Denise Als and Gail Fitch.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave., on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 10am to 12 pm.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 12:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. On-line condolences can be sent to: www.williamrogerdecarbo.com.
