Mary A. Copelli

Mary A. Copelli, 87, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, formerly of Wampum, PA, died Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born November 6, 1921 in Kersey, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Cuneo) Copelli. Ms. Copelli retired from Stack Pole Carbon in St. Mary's, PA, after 20 years and was a member of St. Boniface Church in Kersey, PA.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers, Roy, Charles, Joseph, Vincent, William, Raymond, Francis, George, and Chester Copelli, and two sisters, Martha Copelli, and Veronica Ruth.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 7, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Boniface Church, 355 Main St., Kersey, PA. Father John Kuzilla of St. Boniface Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Ridgeway, PA. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave., New Castle. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Mary's memory to your local Humane Society or "cook a chicken for your favorite dog."
