Iva M. Brown

Iva M. Brown, 56, of Jockey Moore RD, Ellwood City, died Tuesday morning, May 2, 2006 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born January 27, 1950 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Lawrence and Iva May (Main) Henry. Her father precedes her in death, her mother survives in New Castle. She married James H. Brown, Sr. on December 17, 1966, he survives in Ellwood City. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers and gardening.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by 2 sons, James H. Brown, Jr. and Robert Brown, both of New Castle, 3 daughters, Margaret 'Peggy' Brown, Theresa Brown, and Marcy Brown all of New Castle, 2 brothers, Jackie Henry and Fred Henry both of New Castle, 3 sisters, Rose Henry, and Ruth Taylor, both of New Castle and Peggy Frazier of St. Augustine, FL and 1 grandson.

In addition to his father, she was preceded in death by her son Samuel Brown, and her brother Lawrence Henry.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday from 10am-12pm.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in the Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
