Mary F. Conti

Mary F. Conti, 83, of Canton, OH, formerly of New Castle, died Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio. She was born May 28, 1926 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Isadore and Rose (Osso) Barbati. She married Lawrence M. Conti, Sr., who died on March 15, 1994. Mrs. Conti was a nurses aide at Hill Haven Nursing Home in Akron, OH retiring after many years.
She is survived by one son, Lawrence Conti and his wife Debra of Tallmadge, OH, one daughter, Kelly Fulwell and her husband Douglas of Uniontown, OH, one brother, Anthony Barbati of New Castle, four sisters, Ida Jopek and her husband Ed, Elvira Barbati, Helen Joseph and her husband Franklin, and Marjorie Coonfare and her husband Virgil, all of New Castle, four grandchildren, two sister-in-laws, Pat Barbati and Irene Paglia, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ronald, Isadore, Richard, and Eugene Barbati.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave., on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 10 am to 11 am.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 11:00 am at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Able Robles will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
