William G. Santiago

William G. Santiago, Sr., 61, of Moyer Rd., Shenango Twp., died Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. He was born January 23, 1948 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, a son of Pedro Santiago and Rosa (Collado) Santiago. His father survives in Hartford, CT, his mother precedes him in death. He was married to Barbara R. (Tolley) Santiago for 42 years, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Santiago retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Mental Retardation. He was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by, one son, William G. Santiago, Jr., one daughter, Sherri Santiago, one step-son, John Kindel, one step-daughter, Linda Tangeri, one brother, Elvis Santiago, two sisters, Oga I. Santiago and Rosaura Oliver, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and a number of half brothers and sisters.
Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
