Kyu Won Sung

Kyu Won Sung, 94, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, died Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Golden Hill Nursing Home. She was born February 11, 1915 in Seoul, South Korea a daughter of the late In Song Nam and Lee Nam. She was married to Heung K. Sung for 38 years, he precedes her in death. Mrs. Sung was a homemaker and a member of the Korean Church of Youngstown. She formerly lived in Flushing, NY and was a member of a senior citizens club in New York.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. Paul Sung, M.D. and, Taek Sung, both of New Castle, one daughter, Won Soon Beck of New Castle, and seven grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Sunday, September 13, 2009 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Funeral services will be held Sunday evening, September 13, 2009 at 7:00 pm and Monday, September 14, 2009 at 10:00 am at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Rev. In Wha Shon will be officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
