Florence M. DeFonso, 89, of 735 Ridge St., New Castle, died Monday evening, May 15, 2006 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born November 18, 1916 in Wampum, Pennsylvania the daughter of Michael and Antonette (Ciletti) Attobello, they precede her in death. She was married to Dominick DeFonso, who died on August 30, 1997. Mrs. DeFonso was a member of St. Vitus Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by 2 sons, Ronald DeFonso of Orlando, FL and Dennis DeFonso of New Castle, PA, 1 step-son, Donald DeFonso of Idaho, 2 sisters, Josephine Fabrizi of New Brighton, PA, and Jean Neve of Beaver Falls, PA, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Paul Attobello, her brother Chris Attobello, her sister Angeline Fernandez, and her sister Louise Adams.
Arrangements by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
