Louis M. Toscano

Louis M. Toscano, 87, of Berger Place, New Castle, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. He was born May 5, 1930 in New Castle, a son of the late Anthony and Marie (DiThomas) Toscano. He was married to Bonita L. (Santia) Toscano on April 24, 1965, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Toscano was a code enforcement officer for the City of New Castle retiring after 20 years. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean Era and enjoyed dancing and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Marguerite Wills and husband Terry of New Castle, one brother, Anthony 'Tosk' Toscano of New Castle, two sisters, Norma Fiorito of New Castle, and Mary Panasewicz of New Castle, and two grandchildren, Braiden Wills and Kayce Wills.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Lenora Piccari, Florence Yanucil, and Caroline Toskin.
Private funeral services were held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in the Parkside Cemetery.
