Marian Elaine Kennedy

Marian Elaine Kennedy, 72, of Cambridge Street, New Castle, died Friday, July 21, 2017 at her home in New Castle. She was born May 17, 1945 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Earl and Edna (Fox) Johnson. She was married to David Kennedy for 49 years, he survives in New Castle. Ms. Kennedy was a cashier at K-Mart and Fisher's Big Wheel for a number of years. She enjoyed making flower arrangements, working on her computer, interior decorating, and painting and drawing. She also loved her family and grandchildren very much and loved family gatherings and was the life of the party.
In addition to her husband she is survived by four children, David W. Kennedy and wife Michele of New Castle, Deanna L. Ridenbaugh and husband Orville of New Castle, Donald P. Kennedy and wife Laura of Edinburg, and Dean A. Kennedy of New Castle, one sister, Janice Harper and husband Richard of Boardman, OH, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Johnson, and her sister Eleanor Bowsak.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
