Sharon L. Jones Henderson

Sharon L. Jones Henderson, 50, of Croton Avenue, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at her home in New Castle. She was born May 12, 1959 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Ralph Lloyd Jones and Lillian (Selig) Jones, her mother survives in New Castle. She married Robert Henderson on August 16, 1996, he survives in New Castle. Sharon worked at Shenango China as a decorator for many years, she then worked as a sales clerk at numerous retail stores in New Castle. She was a graduate of the New Castle School of Beauty and loved flowers and gardening.

She is survived by, one daughter, Sheila Jones of New Castle, three sons, Matthew Jones of New Castle, Lucas McLaren of New Castle, and Steven McLaren of West Pittsburg, one sister, Brenda Shaley of New Castle, four brothers, Lloyd Jones of Edinburg, Wayne Jones and Randy Jones, both of New Castle, and Mark Jones of Mt. Jackson, thirteen grandchildren and one step-daughter, Kara Henderson of Zelienople, PA.

She was preceded in death by, one daughter Mandy McLaren, one step-son Justin Henderson, and one grandson.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, October 1, 2009 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 11:30 am at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
