Chrissy E. Laurenza

Chrissy E. Laurenza, 37, of East Hillcrest Avenue, died Monday, August 28, 2017 in Portersville, PA. She was born in Wichita, KS on June 21, 1980 the daughter of Dale Kershner of Wichita, KS and Cynthia Harper and her partner, Carl Gates of Portersville, PA. She is also survived by her husband Marco Laurenza, Sr. of New Castle. Chrissy was a CNA at Golden Hill Nursing Home for a number of years. She enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking and loved watching her children play sports and spending time with them. She also coach her son’s baseball team.
She is also survived by two sons, Alex Laurenza and Marco Laurenza, Jr. both of New Castle, two brothers, Travis Gleeson of Bessemer and Jamie Kershner of Wichita, KS, her step-father, Tom Manolis of New Castle, and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 from 12 Noon to 2 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel.
