Regina 'Jean' S. Querriera

Regina ‘Jean’ S. Querriera, 83, of N. Vine St., died Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. She was born June 7, 1926 in New Castle, the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Bucci) Sylvester. She marred William J. Querriera on June 21, 1947, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Querriera was a homemaker and a member of St. Vitus Church, the Christian Mothers and the Ladies Guild of St. Vitus. She worked at the Johnson Bronze as a machine operator and enjoyed cooking and baking. Mrs. Querriera will be sadly missed and will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by, two daughters, Patricia Miller, and Rosemary Bonelli and her husband Gary, of New Castle, five sons, William J. Querriera, Jr., Joseph Querriera, and Ronald Querriera and his fiancé Robin Chmura, all of New Castle, Richard Querriera and his wife Barb of Cranberry Twp., and David Querriera of New Castle, and nine grandchildren, Jennifer Miller, Ryan Miller, Chris Querriera, Randy Querriera, Monica Querriera, Adrianna Bonelli, Gabriella Bonelli, Austin Querriera and Maria Querriera.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Augustine, Ernest, John, and Guido Sylvester.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Monday, October 12, 2009 from 4 pm to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
