Helen Stavrinoudis, 66, of Avalon Nursing Center, died Thursday evening, May 25, 2006 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born June 25, 1939 in Monessen, Pennsylvania the daughter of Steve and Mary (Amygdalos) Stavrinoudis. They precede her in death. Miss Stavrinoudis was a client at Lark Enterprises for 24 years doing various jobs over that time.
She is survived by a brother, Isadore Stavrinoudis of Crown Point, IN, 1 niece and 1 nephew and 1 great niece.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Chris Stavrinoudis.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10am-12pm.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Services will be conducted by Father Photios Tomarakos. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 3159 W. Englewood Ave., New Castle, PA 16105.
